Word length: 1500 (word equivalent)
Description: Chose a learning topic, skill or procedure to teach. Choose a theoretical perspective. Design a technologically integrated and/or digitally-delivered lesson for use in school, the university or in professional development to teach your topic. Your unit should include:
• Topic being learned
• Rationale for using ICT and/or digital delivery
• Justification of alignment between theoretical perspective, learning and ICT
• Outline of the activity
• Sample of how learning will be assessed
• Guidelines for activity
• Additional resources needed
This can be designed as an online resource or submitted as a word document. The word length is ‘equivalent’ to account for different modes of delivery, e.g. creating a website involves additional planning.

Hints: As with Module 1, the weekly discussion tasks in Module 2 should have helped you to develop a response to Assignment 2. Now, Assignment 2 is a bit different than in that it asks you to create a learning resource. The KEY is that your activity is specific and not overly ambitious.
This is one activity, not an entire unit of learning. You can situate your activity within a larger unit of work, if you like, but the lesson itself should be ONE activity. The goal is that someone could pick up your resource and teach the lesson or training. This resource can be in a variety of formats. You could create a school lesson plan, a brief for professional training, worksheets and supporting documents, etc. You could use a blog, wiki site, website, Google Docs/Slides or word document to present your resource.
The important aspects of this assignment are the consideration of the learning theory and how it relates to the selection and integration of ICT to support the learning. Remember, as always, learning is the primary concern in this resource, not the use of ICT.
