• Detail the event information, scope and the objectives.
  
• Describe how you plan to consult and involvement the stakeholders in the process.
  
• Assess the impact of internal and external factors on event plan. – Perform a SWOT analysis (Strength/Weaknesses. Opportunities/Threats) including;
  
• Economic climate at the time related to the sector the event is based in and end consumers
  
• Competing and complementary events
  
• Capacity of your organization to manage the event
  
• Determine scope, nature and format of event plans.
