Aim: The aim of the oral presentation is to develop critical thinking skills of Social Marketing and the ability to speak effectively and improve body language skills.
Rationale: The rationale is to critically evaluate the basis of Social Marketing strategy and effectiveness as reported and / or developed in your case context. There are 9 case presentations to choose from.
The process involves a power point presentation with 20 minutes (maximum) in total for each group. Your group will be asked to present the case with critique to engage & generate discussions. You will be given 15 minutes for the presentation with 5 minutes allocated for questions and answer. You need to:
understand the context of your presentation
analyse your audience
understand and articulate the purpose of your presentation
shape and organise your presentation content
choose an appropriate speaking style, not just read out slides
practice an effective delivery style
elect and use visual aids
Minimum of 3 students, maximum of 4 students
