Assessment Task 1: Case analysis & presentation (20%)

Aim: The aim of the oral presentation is to develop critical thinking skills of Social Marketing and the ability to speak effectively and improve body language skills.
Rationale: The rationale is to critically evaluate the basis of Social Marketing strategy and effectiveness as reported and / or developed in your case context. There are 9 case presentations to choose from.

Process:

The process involves a power point presentation with 20 minutes (maximum) in total for each group. Your group will be asked to present the case with critique to engage & generate discussions. You will be given 15 minutes for the presentation with 5 minutes allocated for questions and answer. You need to:
 understand the context of your presentation
 analyse your audience
 understand and articulate the purpose of your presentation
 shape and organise your presentation content
 choose an appropriate speaking style, not just read out slides
 practice an effective delivery style
 elect and use visual aids
 Minimum of 3 students, maximum of 4 students
 A detailed rubric will be provided.
