Description
The goal of this task is for you to apply solution-oriented skills using a comprehensive primary health care approach to address a life course approach to an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander age-related health and wellbeing case study.

Overall
- This is an individual summative assessment task.
- The case study comprises of two (2) written components.
- Your case study should contain at least five (5) relevant scholarly references.
- You will submit your case study in one Word document on Blackboard via SafeAssign.
- The due date for this assessment task is as follows: Task 2 Due 5pm Friday, Week 13.

- Please use the template provided in the assessment task 2 section of the assessment tab in Blackboard.
For this assessment task you will need to choose a life stage of interest to you and a mainstream health service that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the stage of life you have selected would use.
Part one – organisational level critique (800 words)
In the first part of your task, you will draw on your learnings about cultural safety, comprehensive primary health care and life course perspective to critically analyse the mainstream health service regarding the cultural safety of its primary health care services for people in the chosen life stage. You can use publicly available information (e.g., chosen organisation’s website or relevant government websites) to inform you of their services and/or policies or lack thereof. You will
- briefly describe their health services
- identify strengths and limitations of this health service in terms of culturally safe care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
- propose actions that could be taken to improve cultural safety in that chosen health service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in that life stage.
Part two – individual level critique (400 words)
In the second part of your task, you will identify ways in which you as a health promotion/public health/occupational therapy or other health professional working within or in partnership with your selected health service could ensure that as an individual professional you are providing culturally safe practice.
