Assessment Task 2 - Marketing Mix Selection Project

Task Summary:

This assessment task requires you to identify and report on a suitable marketing mix for a product or service for a business of your choice.
You can choose a company and use its Marketing Plan by viewing the site http://www.mplans corn/ or by researching the Internet for a Marketing Plan for a company that you are interested in. The marketing plan you choose must include sufficient information in order to be able to complete this assessment — this means the marketing plan must include information on products and/or services provided by the business, target customers, pricing, promotional methods. and information on how the product or service is distributed.
Before you start the assessment task, you should discuss your choice of company with your assessor who will need to approve your choice before you start the assessment project. For the purposes of this assessment. assume that you are the Marketing Manager of the company that you have chosen and that your assessor is the Managing Director. Assume that the location of the business is in the city or suburb you are living in.
If you are having difficulty sourcing a suitable Marketing Plan, you should speak to your assessor who can assist you to source one.
Once you have chosen your company, you may proceed with the assessment task that is to report on a recommended marketing mix for the business's product or service. The assessment can be word processed and submitted via email to the assessor or can be handwritten and submitted to the assessor (Please note that plagiarism will be accounted for both word-processed and handwritten submissions).
Students are to add supplementary sheets for answers wherever required. Make sure all assessments are signed by the student and dated.
