The article that has been chosen for analysis is “Standards-Based Delivery of Multi-Contextual Services: On the Identity Tension”. One of the main research question that has been analyzed from the study of the article is that there is a need to update the working and functioning of the government departments with the usage and implementation of information service systems. In these cases the Swedish Road Administration has been selected and the implementation of the information services that include Location Code and Alert-C Codes. The research question is that if the infrastructure of the chosen government department can change with the implementation of the given information services. The importance of the research question arises from the fact that the older rules and norms that are used to run the department have negatively effected the functioning of the department and there is a need to update the overall infrastructure.

Some of the main concepts that have been described in the paper include uses and advantages of information services and information technology and how the implementation of information technology can help in delivering quality functioning. The infrastructure of the road division of the Swedish Road Administration is increasingly complex and there is a need that the information services are used not only for proper management of the roads but also for the maintenance of the functioning of thee department.

The findings given by the author has highlighted the fact that implementation of the information services in the form of Alert C Codes and Location codes. With the help of the implementation of the information services, an app will be launched that will serve as one of the main sources for traffic modes. These are also some of the main sources of information technology with the help of which apps can be developed for the customers.

The evidence and the findings that have been stated by the author are based on the interviews that have been conducted with 22 employees of SRA. On the other hand the documents of the SRA were analyzed between the years 2001 and 2011. The evidence that has been presented gives increased confidence in the research question that has been stated.

There are two main research strategies that have been used by the researcher. One is the data analysis of the documents of the SRA and the second includes interviews. One of the main advantage of the first method is that specific data can be selected and can be analyzed as required.  The advantage of the interviews is that the specific questions that are related to the research aims and objectives can be asked from the respondents in order to obtain answers. Biasness from the respondents is one of the main disadvantage in the case of interviews.

One of the main weakness that has been seen in the article is related to the is of increased technical language which makes the comprehension level of the article even lesser.
