The R&D activities would include improvement in the recipes for the crust, sauce and toppings. Different combinations would be experimented to find the most liked ones and manage the inventory accordingly. The innovation aspect shall also be applied to equipment and processes to achieve operational efficiency by optimising the use of technology.

Being a family business, Pizza on Wheels has a very simple organizational structure with family members managing different departments simultaneously. Mr. Father will be the chief financer, who would not be involved in day to day operations of the business; however he would be responsible for ensuring that the business meets all the legal requirements currently and in future. Mr. Owner would serve as the general manager of the food truck; he would be the bookkeeper, take orders and serve the orders to the customers, also manage the marketing and promotions for the business.
