Resourcing Plan

In every project or event adequate resources and the effective utilization of the resources is very essential. Resources can include people, finances, location etc. (Goldblatt, 2010).  Every task requires some amount of resources, which when aligned effectively the event organizers would be able to achieve their goals. It is suggested that the event organizers should approach some sponsors to fund the event and using the investment of the sponsors the event organizers should decide on the various programs the Music Festival would include. Risk Management Plan

Risk Management plan is very essential in every project since every project has some risks and identifying and mitigating it is essential to avoid future losses and injuries. To avoid or mitigate risks it is suggested that the event organizers of the Music festival should chalk out a risk factor analysis sheet, which should first identify the potential risks involved in the event, it should then identify the participants and the activities by the participants, the sheet should then identify any possible use of devices, which can lead to fire or explosion. Under the risk management plan the organizers should then identify any existing risk at the site of the event and also identify the risks, which cannot be controlled by the organizers such as changes in the climatic conditions or any chaos which can be created by the audiences. The risk management plan will include the assessment of the event site and the activities, which would take place at the event.

Staffs on the site play an important role in mitigating risks by identifying the type and level of risk in different tasks they carry out hence their involvement is essential (Silvers, 2007). All the staffs would be provided with a respective checklist, which will have the identified risks in the activity or task, which they are carrying out and it should be ensured that the staff are well-briefed with various actions to be taken under the respective risk. The risk management plan would include identifying the spots where certain important instructions would be placed on a board for the audiences to avoid any risks from them, which cannot be controlled by the staff all the time.
